  • Marketing partners and analytics providers
  • Public databases and records (used for property data, not personal profiling)

2.4 Information About Property Searches

3.4 For Security and Legal Compliance

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud and security issues

  • Protect the rights, property, and safety of Automation Atlas and our users

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information depends on the data and the context:

  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the Service you've subscribed to
  • Legitimate Interests: To improve our Service, prevent fraud, and ensure security
  • Consent: When you've given explicit consent (e.g., marketing emails)
  • Legal Obligation: When required by law or regulation

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, though this will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Sale or licensing of business-contact data. We sell and license business-contact datasets — including directories of real estate professionals (name, business email, business phone, and brokerage affiliation). If your information appears in one of these datasets, this constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state laws. You have the right to opt out at any time, and we will honor it immediately — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell information collected from you as a customer of our Service (such as your account details, billing information, or platform usage) — the datasets we license are a separate product line, described in Section 5.5 below.

5.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

  • Payment processing (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Analytics services (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Customer support tools (Zendesk, Intercom, etc.)
  • Email service providers (SendGrid, Mailchimp, etc.)

These service providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5.2 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or reorganization, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and your choices regarding your information.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to:

  • Valid legal processes (subpoenas, court orders, warrants)
  • Legitimate requests from law enforcement or government authorities
  • Situations involving potential threats to safety or security
  • Protection of our legal rights and property

5.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

5.5 Business-Contact Datasets We License (Data Broker Disclosure)

We compile and license datasets of real estate professionals. This section describes that product line, as required by the CCPA/CPRA and state data broker laws.

  • Categories of personal information sold or shared: identifiers (name, business email address, business phone number) and professional/employment information (brokerage or firm affiliation, license status, state).
  • Sources: publicly available state real estate licensing records; publicly available professional profiles and brokerage websites; and information provided directly to us.
  • Purpose: to enable business-to-business outreach, recruiting, and market research by our customers.
  • Categories of recipients: vetted business customers who purchase a dataset license and agree to our contractual use restrictions.
  • What we do NOT sell: Social Security numbers, financial account information, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or any sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of minors under 16.
  • Buyer obligations: purchasers are contractually prohibited from reselling the data, and must comply with applicable law including the CAN-SPAM Act, the TCPA, and state privacy laws.
  • Retention: records are refreshed and re-verified periodically; opt-out and deletion records are retained indefinitely so that we can continue to honor your request.

Your control: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or request deletion, at any time and free of charge at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Opt-outs and deletions are applied immediately and enforced at the moment each dataset is delivered to a customer, so your request is honored on every subsequent delivery. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide you with the Service and maintain your account
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud

When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Some information may be retained in backup systems for up to an additional 90 days.

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and research purposes.

7. Your Privacy Rights

7.1 All Users

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal information
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails, text messages, and calls at any time (see Section 8.5 for all opt-out methods)

7.2 GDPR Rights (EEA Users)

If you are located in the EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR:

  • Right to Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for processing based on consent
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority

7.3 CCPA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of personal information collected, used, and shared
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time via Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Opt-outs take effect immediately and are enforced on every dataset delivery. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect or sell sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights

7.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@automationatlas.co. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

8. Marketing Communications & Mobile Information (Email, SMS/Text & Phone)

8.1 Your Consent to Marketing Communications

When you submit a form on our website, request information, book a call or demo, or sign up for a resource and check a box (or take an equivalent affirmative action) agreeing to receive communications from Automation Atlas, you provide your prior express written consent for Automation Atlas, Pinnacle Peak Company LLC, and service providers acting on our behalf to contact you for marketing, informational, and service-related purposes at the email address and telephone number(s) you provide. This includes contact by email, SMS/MMS text message, and telephone — including calls, voicemails, and texts made or sent using automated technology (such as an automatic telephone dialing system) or an artificial, prerecorded, or AI-generated voice. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

8.2 SMS/Text Messaging Program

  • Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us
  • Message and data rates may apply, billed by your mobile carrier
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further text messages
  • Reply HELP to any message, or email support@automationatlas.co, for assistance
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

8.3 No Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in Section 5 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with vendors and service providers acting on our behalf (such as our text messaging delivery platform) solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.

8.4 Artificial, Prerecorded & AI-Generated Voice Calls; Call Recording

Some calls you receive from us may be conducted by an AI voice agent or use an artificial or prerecorded voice. Our AI voice agents will identify themselves and Automation Atlas at the outset of the call. Calls may be monitored, recorded, or transcribed for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping purposes, as permitted by applicable law; where required, you will be notified of recording at the start of the call. Call recordings and transcripts are handled as personal information under this Privacy Policy.

8.5 Opting Out & Revoking Consent

You may revoke your consent to receive marketing communications at any time, through any reasonable means, including by:

  • Replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message
  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
  • Telling any agent (human or AI) during a call that you no longer wish to be contacted
  • Emailing support@automationatlas.co with your request

We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days as required by FCC rules. After you opt out of text messages, you may receive a single message confirming your opt-out. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect non-marketing, transactional, or service-related communications, such as messages about your account, appointments you have scheduled, or services you have purchased.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information.

9.1 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function (authentication, security, load balancing)
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences (theme, language, saved searches)
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how you use the Service (Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
  • Marketing Cookies: Track visits across websites to deliver relevant advertisements

9.2 Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View cookies stored on your device
  • Delete cookies individually or all at once
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

9.3 Google Analytics Advertising Features

We use Google Analytics with Google Analytics Advertising Features enabled, including Google signals. When you are signed in to a Google account and have turned on Ads Personalization, Google Analytics may associate your visit information with Google's data from your account to provide us with aggregated demographics, interests, and cross-device insights. In addition, we send certain conversion events from our servers to Google Analytics (for example, a completed purchase, a submitted lead, or a scheduled call) to measure our marketing more accurately; we do not send Google Analytics your name, email address, phone number, or other information that directly identifies you.

You can control or opt out of these features at any time:

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information:

  • Encryption: Data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL; data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption
  • Access Controls: Strict access controls and authentication requirements for employees and systems
  • Regular Security Audits: Regular security assessments and penetration testing
  • Secure Infrastructure: Use of reputable cloud providers with robust security certifications
  • Incident Response: Procedures in place to detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.

If you are located in the EEA, we ensure that transfers to third countries are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission
  • Other lawful transfer mechanisms

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Service.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@automationatlas.co. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

14. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. We currently do not respond to DNT signals because there is no industry-wide standard for how to interpret and respond to these signals.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Sending you an email notification (for material changes)
  • Displaying a prominent notice on our Service

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
